1st time swimming

Today we took Hogan swimming for the first time. Our neighbors (the Woods) have a pool and have so graciously offered to let us use their pool today while they are away for the weekend. So, we decided to take them up on their offer and cool off (it is already really hot here...yeah for summer!). Hogan had a good time, but at first, all he was really interested in were my sunglasses!

Then, he discovered that the water was tasty (salt water pool) and he could splash in this pool, just like in the bath tub! I still think he likes the bath tub better...more toys!

This was the only picture of Hogan and daddy we got that day b/c daddy was being a poop! :)

1st tooth & 1st time swinging

Well, I knew there was something really bothering me under there. I guess it is called a tooth and it is now sticking out and feels really weird. It popped out on my 8 month birthday exactly! (5/18/10) I keep trying to feel of it with my tongue. Mom brushes it everyday and says we have to keep it clean. Here are some pics of mom trying to get a picture of the new tooth. Pretty humorous.


Just a couple days later, we went to the park with our Friday lunch group and I got to swing! It was super new and exciting at first

...but then mom left me in there for a while. I wasn't quite sure what to do with myself. Do your arms go in or out of this thing???

Oh yeah, and she finally got a picture of that new tooth of mine!

Trip to OK for Barb's graduation

We just came back from a weekend trip to OK for Barb's graduation. Congrats Dr. Stanfield! Hogan did great! In fact, Barb's graduation didn't get over with until 9:30 or so and poor Hogan hung in there like a trooper. We only got to stay at the graduation party for about 15 minutes, but at least we got to see Barb and Lily...along with several other people!
