Pink Eye

It's hard to tell in this picture, but my baby has pink eye (his right eye)! It is so sad. Luckily, Dr. Yap called us in some eye drops and after just one dosage, it is already looking way better. I think he is already on the mend!

After a full day on Saturday, we went to church in Edmond on Sunday and got to go to lunch with Grammy, Kirby's, and McCullough's.  Here are a couple pics from church and lunch.

9 month check-up

I just had my 9 month check-up with Dr. Yap.  He is so funny...he makes me laugh every time I see him.  He greeted me with his "Ho-gan, Ho-gan, Ho-gan" chant.  He keeps saying how happy he is that I still like him.  I'm not sure what that means. 

Seems I am still doing well.  This time, I came in at 21 lbs. 5 oz. and was 30.5 inches long.  He didn't say what percentile that put me in, but I feel like I am growing just fine.  Mommy keeps telling me I am growing like a weed!

Crawling!

Well, I've been very busy lately figuring out how to get around.  I finally got this crawling thing down...just 3 days before my 9 month birthday.  I didn't know what I was missing!!!  Had I realized how cool this was, I would have tried for it a long time ago!

It's the simple things in life

Trip to OK for Kellen & Kinley's bday party

We just took a weekend trip to OK for Kellen and Kinley's bday party and baby Kase's baby shower! We also got to catch a couple of Kaden and Kohl's baseball games. We had a really good time. Somehow we managed to miss taking pics of everyone together, but here are the few pics we got. (Mommy is going to try to get better at getting all the pics!)
Mom was concerned when we first got there and she realized that she forgot to pack me any toys. I told her not to worry about it...who needs those baby toys...I can find my own toys.

Taking care of business

I guess Hogan found a place to read and "take care of business". I wonder where he has seen this?! Seriously, he is fascinated by books...but not his books, mind you...no, he is fascinated by whatever daddy or I are reading. We discovered this by accident one night when I left a magazine laying around. Then daddy gave him this book and he was overjoyed. I think he was shocked that daddy was giving it to him in the first place. Then, just moments later, Hogan decided to poop! It was hilarious. Daddy just managed to get a picture of his "poop" face!

And yes, I realize that not many people still use a bumbo with their 8 month old child...and you are thinking I should be called in to DHS because I have it on the counter, which is a safety risk...but he loves it and I am blessed with a child that is calm and stays pretty still in it...and don't worry, I don't leave him unattended! :)
